Microsoft Just Overhauled Its Android On PC Experience

In the ideal world, Microsoft will have its own smartphone line and cellular OS integrated in the Windows operating system. It’s almost becoming – or, at least, it has been set in the last iteration of Windows 10 Mobile on the Lumia 950 XL and the HP Elite X3. These two smartphones are intended to show off the Microsoft continuum vision, which turns cellphones into desktops in a way similar to Samsung Dex. Of course, it’s now just a footnote in history and Microsoft has given up all hope for his own cellular ecosystem.

The company has worked hard to integrate Android functions to Windows, however, especially by providing access to files, applications, photos, and notifications on your mobile via desktop or laptop. The function has been around for several years now in the form of “your cellphone,” but Microsoft gives facelift technology and, in the end, a more appropriate name.

The brains behind these features in Microsoft may have fatigue trying to think of a name that can be marketed, because they end up with something so common that it is worthless. “Your cellphone” doesn’t just sound awkward, but it’s also difficult to enter sentences without quotes. Fortunately, Microsoft finally gave up and called it “telephone link” instead. Android companion application, on the other hand, will be called “Link to Windows,” which is the term Samsung has used.

In short, the telephone link allows you to access several aspects of your Android phone on your Windows PC without having to take the handset from your pocket or bag. These aspects include accessing photos and messages, copying and transferring files between devices, and see notifications so you will not miss anything. For some telephone models, you can even access the Android application directly on your PC, even though they really run on your mobile.

Your cellphone,” Now a telephone link, has grown in features over the past few years to that point it’s getting messy. To overcome it, new updates add the tab interface so you can easier to get to the content you want with fewer clicks and scroll. As before, you can also filter notifications and even reply to messages with your PC keyboard.
